Description

  1. Pre-Operation Inspection

1.1 Verify that the installation of all components complies with their respective installation requirements.
* Ensure the shipping restraint of the pressure relief device has been removed.
* Confirm the thermometer pocket is filled with transformer oil.
* Check that the high-voltage bushings have been properly vented.
* Verify the adsorbent (e.g., silica gel) in the breather is qualified and the breather passage is unobstructed.

1.2 Confirm that the butterfly valves for the cooling system pipelines, gas guide pipelines, and other valves that should normally be open are in the fully open position.

1.3 Verify the indicating positions of switches (e.g., tap changers) are correct, consistent across all three phases, and that the operating mechanisms move freely.

1.4 Check the oil level in the conservator to ensure it is within the normal range corresponding to the ambient temperature.

1.5 Inspect the power supply, control, and signal wiring for all protection, control, and measurement devices for correctness. Perform functional tests to ensure signals and operations are accurate and reliable.

1.6 Transportation, Standing, and Initial Operation:
* After long-distance transportation, the transformer must stand undisturbed for at least 24 hours at the installation site before acceptance tests are conducted.
* During the initial no-load energization, closely monitor the transformer voltage, operating temperature, and sound for normalcy.
* Only after operating continuously at rated voltage under no-load for 24 hours without abnormality should loading be gradually applied.

  1. Operation and Maintenance

2.1 Immediately after the transformer is energized and put into operation, re-check that all measurement and protection systems are functioning normally.

2.2 Commence routine maintenance 48 hours after the transformer has been placed into service. All maintenance activities must be performed periodically according to the relevant operating regulations, including but not limited to inspection, recording, testing, and necessary upkeep.
